Sedrick was born as the only son of Hrodric, Ala Mhigan king Theodoric's brother. When he was fourteen, the king started killing his family and those close to him. Sedrick and his elder sister Cecily managed to escape by hiding in the slums.When Sedrick turned nineteen, an opportunity to take back their lives presented itself: the Ala Mhigan Revolution. Their victory did not last long; Garleans stormed the city and Cecily sacrificed herself for Sedrick's escape. Shortly after he fled Ala Mhigo, the Garleans deemed him a traitor to their nation and issued a warrant for his arrest. To avoid being caught, Sedrick frequently wore a mask covering his eyes to hide his identity. Lost and confused, he wandered across the border to The Black Shroud with nothing but the clothes on his back. He was assisted by an unnamed Midlander woman, with whom he began a partnership.Two years later, she birthed stillborn twin girls and abandoned Sedrick; however, the babies were not truly dead- but it was too late. The woman was nowhere to be found. Now Sedrick was lost more than ever; not only was he back at square one, but he also had to care for two infants. Refusing to give up, he strapped the babies to his back and travelled to Ul'dah in the hope of finding work. Coin is plentiful in Ul'dah...
